RWU’s Rail & Labor News Archives

Each week - beginning in March of 2019, RWU has gleaned the important news stories, the ones that hold the most significance to the lives of working railroaders. Information about contract fights, strikes, on the job safety, union organizing, general working conditions, derailments and wrecks, rail legislation, and more that affects our day-to-day lives. We also report on the antics of the rail industry, its cuts to safety and staffing, stock buybacks, “Precision Scheduled Railroading,” staffing cuts and attacks upon our standard of living and quality of work life. We encourage our readers to follow this Bulletin each week and in doing so, remain in touch with the major issues that face working railroaders. Feel free to check out the back issues below starting with the current year and working back all the way to March 2019.
